Who am I?: Developing The Vision by Michele Sparks

Updated: Sep 30, 2021

We all have voices that offer opinions and ideas about what direction we should take in our lives. From the moment we're born in this world someone has something to say about everything we do. Parents, families, society, workplaces, friends, enemies, self etc. The problem with this is that in the midst pf all these opinions there is a dangerous assumption- namely that we should play to some arbitrary norm of what people "like us" should be like.

What if it we viewed life differently- not so much that we are working towards conforming to this imaginary standard form without. Scripture says that God has "place eternity in our hearts" (Ecclesiastes 3:11). He has placed a way for people to learn to hear His direction and leading for their individual life. In other words He has a sense of vision and purpose for each one of us.

Without a vision or direction a business will fail. Without a vision for a relationship the relationship may grow old and stagnant. Likewise, without a person vision people can perish (Proverbs 29:18). Their hope may become deferred or delayed (Proverbs 13:22) as if anything good is just moving father and farther away from them.

The good news is that part of what we do at Authentic Christian Life Ministries International is helping identify and walk alongside as we seek the Lord's sense of meaning for your personal life. The idea is that you were never made to be someone or something else. No wonder you are frustrated when you try to adapt and compromise to others. God never intended you to be anyone other than who you are in Him. That is why we desire to help mentor you to fulfillment of your natural bent or leanings, those gifts, talents, and abilities that you just need to cultivate more.

Please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be glad to assist you in identifying the natural and spiritual abilities, gifts, and roles which may hep you find more fulfillment in life. We want to celebrate you developing a sense of comfort, peace and purpose in who you were created to be.
